This release focuses on reconciliation, sourcing, exports, and safer authentication. It also clears up several rough edges in component history and change-order workflows.
Stored API-key hashes no longer work as credentials. API-key management now uses key IDs, while authentication requires the original raw key.
BOM changes now appear during reconciliation without requiring Sync. BOM-only changes show as Ahead, attribute and BOM changes are distinguished, and removed last children can be pushed.
Part-choice data can be enriched with distributor, pricing, lead-time, and datasheet details from Nexar when enabled (more to come on this!).
Failed change-order exports now show an explanation in close emails, and successful retries send a follow-up instead of a duplicate close email.
Reconciliation pushes now reflect the actual directives, including cleared and conflict-resolved attributes, preventing stale Ahead badges.
Sourcing imports support currency, maximum quantity, MPN and DPN URLs, warranty, and manufacturer lead time. Quotes can also be created with only a part ID.
Package-type names are unique regardless of capitalization, and deleted components’ MPN/manufacturer combinations can be reused.
Large sourcing imports no longer stall subsequent imports or library setup.
Export jobs no longer overwrite failures with cancellation or completion, and stuck jobs are automatically marked failed and made retryable.
Component history now preserves creation-time labels and documents, shows accurate activity after reverts, avoids duplicate release milestones, and keeps sourcing and integration details intact.
Component lifecycle state is calculated consistently across the API and live product surfaces.
The change-order item change counter now has a tooltip, neutral styling, and tighter spacing.
Google sign-in is hidden on tenants where Google OAuth is unavailable.
Onshape credentials now use centralized, user-scoped handling with tenant-bound egress checks.
Identifier counter errors no longer return invalid null data.
